This is just sick

We have found 2 of these now in our garage the past couple weeks. Ew! I HATE spiders. This is my first experience of dealing with black widows, and it terrifies me! Anyone know any "healthy" way of dealing with them? "Healthy" like not having to spray fumes and pesticides over everything and everyone?

The boys can't sleep tonight. It's 10:45 and they are still awake. They've been in bed now for over 2.5 hours. About 10 minutes ago, Jimmy calls to us from their room "Is it time to go fishing yet Dad?"
James is taking them fishing early in the morning and they are so excited to use their new poles.
Jimmy and Johnny had been eyeing the kid fishing poles at the store for the past month, and James surprised them and brought them home each one a couple nights ago. He got a fishing license a couple weeks ago and has taken the kids fishing a couple times, but tomorrow will be the first time with their own poles.
The boys practiced out in our back yard casting for a couple of hours this weekend and they are pretty darn good little fishermen! I was having trouble casting (and I used to love to fish as a kid with my Dad), but both of them by this afternoon were casting like pros! I kid you not- Jimmy was able to cast his little weight the entire depth of our back yard (to the fence!).
They are going out early, early, tomorrow morning. I'm going to sleep in with Alice. We are all looking forward to our Labor day morning.

On a musical note....

I love this musical digi and it is perfect for this challenge.
I printed it on to some kraft card and lightly watercoloured parts of it. The image was then layered on to a cream card which I ran through my cuttlebug and highlighted it with a Vanilla ink pad. Then tied some crochet cotton around and layered again onto a cream base card.
I am entering it in the following challenges
Simon Says Stamp and Show ---Layers
The Stampman Challenges ---Musical
Your Next Stamp ---Anything Goes

For this card I have used a stamp that I won as part of a prize from The Stampman. I have mounted it on some lovely old lace from my stash, and decorated it with Prima flowers and pearls.

Afternoon folks and it's such a beautiful sunny day here. No crafting today, off to join in the fun at my grandson Robbie's 1st birthday party. It crept up on me (so much going on lately) and before I knew it I hadn't got my card made and don't know if it was because I left it so late I just could not get in the swing of it or that last night I caught Kelly's cold, thanks for sharing girl!

Morning folks, hope your going to join us in this months challenge, "Indian Summer" over on By the Cute & Girly. Not ready to put my teashirts away just yet, looking for some warm sunny days and hopefully fit in a couple of family barbies before the snow comes! Yes, someone mentioned snow in September, jokingly I hope. To help my Indian Summer along I have gone for rich and vibrant colours to
