 Arkansas evenings are beautiful.  The other night we went on a family bike ride and I saw tons of fireflies!!!  I didn't know Arkansas had fireflies!  Was I a hermit last summer or something?  Or maybe I just never went out at dusk, since we usually are putting kids to sleep then.  Lately, since Jimmy is out of school, we've been letting the kids have more of a summer schedule and enjoy the time post-dinner/pre-bed with bike rides and games out back.
 
 The other evening, it was dreamy, the temps cooled down and we went out for a post-dinner family game of baseball. 
 
I sat on a blanket and read and snapped pictures, Alice rumbled around in the boys' backyard junk, and James taught the kids a thing or two about baseball:
