Blue heron sighting

This was a cool sight to come home to the other day.  There was a blue heron (I think?) walking on the water at the pond across the street.  It appeared to be some ice that he was tip-toeing on.  Johnny got a kick out of the exotic bird viewing.

We've had some crazy weather lately.  Yesterday was lovely. A high of 73!  I'm starting to notice a pattern though with these warm winter Arkansas spurts- they seem to always be followed by snow.  And sometimes a tornado in between!!!
